Learning

Kindergarten Curriculum (Play-Based & Islamic Integration)

At the Kindergarten level, Emaan International School adopts a play-based learning approach that nurtures children’s natural curiosity, creativity, and early cognitive development. Learning activities are hands-on, exploratory, and designed to help young learners build foundational skills in communication, numeracy, motor development, and social interaction. The program also includes an Islamic Integration Block, where children learn basic Islamic manners, simple duas, and moral values through stories, songs, and fun activities. The main academic curriculum is adapted from Singapore, ensuring high-quality early childhood standards while maintaining a joyful and engaging learning environment.

Primary Level Curriculum

The Primary Level curriculum at EIS is built upon three core programs: the General Education Program, the English Program, and the Islamic Studies Program. The English Program uses a combination of the Heartymind curriculum and the Andelus Curriculum from Singapore, both designed to enhance literacy, vocabulary development, communication, and critical thinking. The General Education Program covers core subjects aligned with national standards, while the Islamic Studies Program strengthens students’ spiritual, ethical, and moral development. Together, these programs ensure a balanced academic experience that prepares students for higher-level learning and international engagement.

High School Level Curriculum

At the High School level, EIS continues to offer a holistic curriculum that integrates General Education, English Program, and Islamic Studies at a more advanced and rigorous level. Students develop higher-order thinking, analytical skills, and subject mastery in preparation for national exams, international opportunities, and future academic pathways. The English curriculum, supported by the Heartymind and Andelus frameworks, aims to develop students into fluent communicators and confident global learners. Islamic Studies further deepens students’ understanding of Islamic principles, leadership, character development, and real-life application of Islamic values.

Extra-Curricular Activities (Primary & High School)

To support holistic development, EIS provides a rich selection of extra-curricular activities designed to build students’ skills, interests, and character. These include the English Club to strengthen speaking and creative communication; the Computer Club to develop digital literacy; the Recycling Club to promote environmental responsibility; the Football Club to encourage teamwork and physical fitness; the Gardening Club to cultivate discipline and care for nature; and the Nasyid Club to nurture creativity, Islamic talent, and confidence. These activities help students grow socially, emotionally, and academically while contributing positively to the school community.

Our Strategic Partners
